Ski Dubai

These pictures were emailed to me. They are of Ski Dubai. It is an indoor ski resort in Dubai. The email showed this as proof that the arab states are profiting off of us, while we pay more at the pump. However, a quick seach shows that according to Wikipedia, "A majority of the emirate's revenues are from trade, manufacturing and financial services.[6]Revenues from petroleum and natural gas contribute less than 6% (2006)^[7] of Dubai's US$ 37 billion economy (2005).^[8]"

It would be interesting to have snow in a controlled environment only. No more car crashes, no more shoveling, no more huge heat bills.

Michael Jackson moved there. A lot of foreigners live there. I don't know much about it, other than what I have read.

I would not go there myself, after reading this story. Who would want to go to a country like that? Not me!
